software solutions for hpcLine.

Each parallel application package, which is parallelized with MPI and bound with the Message Passing library MPICH under Linux, can be used also on hpcLine systems.

Likewise each serial program, which is not parallelized can be used, if it is executable on LINUX.

Crash Simulation

PAM-CRASH

PAM-CRASH is an application-specific industrial software used to perform realistic and predictive virtual crashworthiness simulations in the transportation industry. Since the first car crash simulation performed in 1983 with a VW Polo, PAM-CRASH has become the world's number one crash test simulation software. PAM-CRASH is specifically designed to simulate mechanical structural testing and meet in particular increasingly stringent regulatory crash tests. Withstanding accidental collisions has become a primary design criterion for the occupants of vehicles. With the shortening of design cycles, crash simulation is a crucial competitive issue for car manufacturers. Crash and safety concerns have also been extended to other vehicle industries: trucks, buses, ships, and guided vehicles such as trains, metros...

RADIOSS CRASH

Since its introduction in 1986, RADIOSS CRASH has been widely validated and is used by automotive companies and their suppliers worldwide to study the crashworthiness behavior of their new products. Crashworthiness simulations applied to all types of transportation systems : Aircrafts, Automobiles, Helicopters, Ships, Trains The use of RADIOSS CRASH allows a dramatic decrease of the number of real prototypes crash leading to substantial R&D cost reductions and shorter development cycle.
